What is a stretched ceiling?
A stretched ceiling is a flexible membrane fixed to a profile mounted around the perimeter of the room. It completely covers the old ceiling without touching it: cracks, stains, cables and conduits disappear, and the lighting sits directly within the membrane.
The Arketex membranes we install are made in France, free of PVC and solvents, and come with a 10-year warranty. They are available in matte, satin, mirror-effect lacquered, acoustic or large-format printed finishes.
Acoustics, lighting and decoration
The micro-perforated acoustic membrane absorbs reverberation: it transforms the sound comfort of a restaurant, an open space, a practice or a meeting room.
